Đà Lạt is not just for sightseeing. Ride a toboggan through the forest, feed alpacas, sleep in a Mongolian yurt, dress up in a kimono for photos… these are the most fun places to play right now.

Alpine Coaster Datanla

A toboggan track over 2.4 km long, racing through the forest at 40 km/h. The Datanla Alpine Coaster is something everyone should try once in Đà Lạt. Tickets around 170,000–200,000 VND. Weekends get busy, so go early to avoid the queues.

Hana Land

Đà Lạt now has a place where you can go tubing, arrange flowers and paint, all in one visit. Hana Land at 68B Hoàng Hoa Thám is a rising hotspot with a photo studio, craft workshops and a café. Open 7:00–22:00, great for groups and for families with young children.

ZooDoo Đà Lạt

A place in Đà Lạt where you can hand-feed kangaroos and alpacas. ZooDoo runs a guided visit of about 60 minutes that kids adore and grown-ups love just as much. Adult tickets around 150,000 VND. Don't miss it if you are travelling with little ones.

Puppy Farm

Dog lovers may never want to leave. Puppy Farm has around 36 rare dog breeds to play with, plus a strawberry garden where you can pick your own. Tickets around 100,000 VND.

Chika Farm

Đà Lạt even has a European-style farm. Chika Farm has alpacas, sheep and pretty countryside scenery. Tickets around 110,000 VND. Kids get to feed the animals, adults get their photos, and everyone has fun.

Mongo Land

Sleep in a Mongolian yurt and go dry-tubing down the hills, and yes, this is Đà Lạt, not Mongolia. Mongo Land tickets are around 100,000 VND, and your photos will look like you went abroad.

Lumiere Light Garden

Where to go when it rains in Đà Lạt? Come play with light at Lumiere. It is on Mai Anh Đào street, with a dozen or so rooms of 3D projection mapping and lasers, and your photos will look like a sci-fi film. Tickets around 150,000 VND, fun rain or shine.

Fresh Garden

Windmills, flower fields and a "cloud" suspension bridge. Fresh Garden is a place where you can take hundreds of photos and never get bored. Tickets around 100,000 VND. Go in the afternoon, when the low sun makes the flowers glow.

Dalat Fairytale Land

A Hobbit village right in the middle of Đà Lạt. Dalat Fairytale Land has grass-roofed houses with round doors, plus a wine cellar to drop into for a tasting. Tickets around 90,000 VND. Fantasy-film fans will love it.

Kombi Land

The Wild West in the middle of Đà Lạt. Kombi Land has a collection of giant cacti, vintage VW Kombi vans and a seriously cool cowboy look. Tickets around 90,000 VND. Bring boots and a cowboy hat and your photos will look like you're in America.

Que Garden

Wear a kimono and take photos as if you were in Japan. Que Garden has a bonsai pine garden and a koi pond, and rents kimonos on site. Tickets around 70,000–100,000 VND. A must for anyone who loves a photoshoot.

Sunny Farm

Đà Lạt's very own "stairway to heaven". Sunny Farm has a ladder reaching out into the clouds, and standing on it for a photo is unforgettable. Tickets around 60,000–100,000 VND. Go early in the morning, when there are plenty of clouds, for the best views.

Thung Lũng Tình Yêu (Valley of Love)

Swan pedal boats, a maze of willow-like trees and electric carts around the lake. Thung Lũng Tình Yêu (Valley of Love) is a classic Đà Lạt landmark, fun for couples and families alike. Tickets around 250,000 VND. Go in the morning, when it is cooler and quieter.

Cao Nguyên Hoa (Flower Highlands)

Lush green lawns and a coffee with a view over the valley. Cao Nguyên Hoa (Flower Highlands) is wide and open, ideal for families with kids who love to run around. Tickets around 100,000 VND.
