Late 2026 in Đà Lạt: persimmon season, wild sunflowers, pink grass and the Flower Festival

From October to the end of the year, Đà Lạt keeps changing colour. Here is the calendar of flower seasons, fruit seasons and major events so you can choose the best time to visit.
Persimmon season in Đà Lạt
Đà Lạt is in persimmon season. This month the trees in the orchards are heavy with ripe red fruit and families hang persimmons to air-dry under their eaves, so every photo glows with warm colour. If you visit an orchard, ask the owner before taking photos, and a few kilos of air-dried persimmons make a perfect gift to take home.

Wild sunflower season
Dã quỳ (wild sunflowers) have started to bloom yellow along Đà Lạt's roads. Late October into November is the most beautiful time, when the routes to Trại Mát, Tà Nung and around Hồ Tuyền Lâm are lined with gold on both sides. Ride slowly, stop for a few photos, and you have the makings of a perfect day.

Pink grass season
In November, Đà Lạt's hills start to turn pink. The pink grass is at its peak from mid to late November, most abundant along the road to Trại Mát and around Hồ Tuyền Lâm. Go in the soft afternoon sun, when the colour looks its best.

The 11th Đà Lạt Flower Festival
Save the date: the 11th Đà Lạt Flower Festival. The flower displays open from 18/12/2026 to 3/1/2027. The opening ceremony takes place at 20:00 on 19/12 at Quảng trường Lâm Viên (Lâm Viên Square), and Đà Lạt will welcome the 2027 New Year right at the festival. Rooms usually book up early this season, so if you're planning to come, reserve your stay ahead.
